A little about me first…
Hey everyone! I’m so excited to finally have a website! My name is Blake Weaver, and I am currently a senior in high school. I have been lettering for a few years now. I have learned so much in the lettering community, but I still have so much to learn! I want to share all of my tips and tricks, favorite products, and anything else I learn with y’all!
What kind of pens are you using?
Although this changes with every video and every piece of art, I usually am using Karin Markers! They are my all time favorite brush pen. I also love a variety of other pens, however. I have most of my favorites linked here, and you can find where I have ordered all of mine!
How do I start hand lettering?
I have been hand lettering for almost 5 years now, and I still feel like I’m learning! I started with Crayola markers and printer paper. I practiced every day for a long time. One of my biggest tips is to find challenges on instagram that give you a daily quote, song, or prompt to letter. That helped me get into a great habit of spending a little time everyday lettering.
